Îmi este greu a scrie, Domniţă răsfăţată,
acum când noaptea vine, cu răsărit de lună;
sunt tot aşa cum ştii, drept ca niciodată,
dă-mi, la despărţire, strângerea de mână.
A fost a mea mândria, iubirea, visul, toate…
le-am ferit cu grijă, numai pentru tine;
înmugurise viaţa, nădejdile îngheţate,
adăstând sub soare, au crescut cu mine.
Asemeni stelei ce cade de pe boltă
te-ai mistuit în noapte, când te-am sărutat;
n-ai lăsat o dâră, ochi adânci de ciută,
puţin îţi pasă, că totul ai uitat.
Te-am cunoscut bine şi ţi-o spun acum,
taina ta nu-i pentru mine ascunsă;
eşti la fel ca toate, calci acelaşi drum
şi te laşi în viaţă, de plăceri ajunsă.
Un ţârâit de greier am s-ascult doar eu
şi freamătul pădurii trezit în faptul serii,
voi merge singur şi n-o să mor de greu,
acum e primăvară, şi-au dat în floare merii.
Asemeni stelei ce cade de pe boltă,
te-ai mistuit în noapte şi te-ai supărat;
şi n-a rămas o dâră din văpaia scurtă,
puţin îţi pasă, că totul ai uitat.
Precum albina, ce zumzăie din floare-n floare,
de am să pot, hoinar voi fi şi eu;
voi strânge fericire îmblânzit de soare,
nimeni n-o să-mi fure din ceea ce-i al meu.
Şi stropi de ploaie, şi picături de rouă
vor limpezi cascada visului târziu,
voi zbura cu vremea în lumea asta nouă –
doar vânzător de vorbe, atâta n-am să fiu.
Asemeni stelei ce cade de pe boltă,
te-ai mistuit în noapte şi ne-am depărtat;
şi n-a rămas o dâră din văpaia scurtă,
puţin îţi pasă, că totu-i terminat.

E primăvară Doamnă, şi e zi cu soare,
în vii pe dealuri,a dat colţul ierbii;
se primeneşte zarea, pomii au dat în floare
prin codrii Vlăsiei boncăluiesc cerbii.
E primăvară Doamnă, şi cerul e senin,
ciocârlia bate spaţii năucite-n cânt;
jos pe baltă, acelaşi susur cristalin
şi-adastă vânătorii să împuşte vânt
E primăvară Doamnă , şi inima vibrează,
timpu-i înspumare, clipa nepieritoare
cel care adesea sunt acum oftează,
peste lume saltă aceeaşi privighetoare.
E primăvară Doamnă, şi e zi cu soare,
